i have just been very grown up and made coffee and home made buns for the electrician.(the buns were not made by me. i just took them out of the freezer and put them in the microwave. thank you, mother-in-law.) and i talked about work. and weather. and dry summers, and heating systems and bad roads and lots of other grown up things.

it's amazing how much washing up coffee and home made buns make, though... the grown-upfulness has now completely disappeared, and i'm going to leave the washing up in the sink and hope it will have solved itself by tomorrow.
