but i got chocolate and the osbournes on dvd, and i've got two cats and a husband in the sofa, and the fridge full of coca cola (and half a birthday cake made with rye flour, that the friends assured me was veeeery good :), so tomorrow when the colleagues come by at 5.45 (!!!!) to go to work i'll be as good as new  ¶ 8:50 PM

  i've been working at hägglunds the last two days. i don't remember how many people work there (but i think it's more than the entire population of sollefteå). mornings at hägglunds make me feel like i'm in a film about the future, with people marching quickly in lines, dressed in clothes that show what tasks they have (mechanic, cleaner, coffe-machine-filler, office-person (or, if someone in an office-outfit shows up in the garage, boss)), with expressionless faces and stiff shoulders and cards around the neck to show which doors they are allowed to walk through and if they are allowed to take photos or not (or if they are only visitors or not yet trusted enough - bright red cards that don't open any doors at all).

we don't seem to get to malaysa on the vacation, by the way. so now we have to find somewhere else to go. brazil is one of the options.

a little secret: the horn o f the CV90 sounds like my old moped. i almost felt sorry for it... that big thing, looking like it wants people to fear and respect it, and with such a silly little horn...  ¶ 5:53 PM

  came home from work an hour earlier than usual, and noticed that sollefteå is blue this time of the day

  the fishing and driving around in the woods with germans was cancelled, as the germans came in jeans and summer shoes :) so i had pizza-lunch indoors instead. before lunch we went looking at roads that would be suitable for a veteran car rally next weekend. and i wasn't too sad about the cancelled trip to the woods with the germans, as that meant i could go home early.

after work i went to the old job to borrow their solarium for a while (as i'm still employed there i hope i'm allowed to use it). but when i had walked around saying hi to lots of people and repeating over and over again that i like the new job, fought with the radio that i've so far never managed to get to agree with me, undressed, and was ready for 30 minutes of warmth i realised i had left my wallet at home.... skiiiiitsolarium! for a minute (or rather 20) i thought i was going to be upset the whole weekend. but now i'm over it. maybe i'll get back and give it another try tomorrow.  ¶ 6:54 PM

  tomorrow at work i'm going to spend the afternoon with visitors from germany, who are going to drive:
- bv 206
- snowmobile
- some kind of 4wd machine they have with them from germany
- maybe some kind of war-vehicle
they are going to make a film out of it, i still haven't quite figured out why.

they are also going to fish through the ice, and our lunch is depending on if they catch anything.

  this morning there were ten ladybirds walking around inside our kitchen window. they probably woke up because of the sun, and thought it was spring.

i have a new hairstyle. as i haven't yet found a hairdresser in sollefteå who seems to know how to cut really thick hair, i tried a new one again. i told her i really disliked the fringe since last time i had the hair cut, and that i only wanted it cut as little as possible, to give it time to catch up with the rest of the hair. she probably misunderstood me, because she cut all the hair almost as short as the fringe... i think pages look good on most people, but as i have so much hair (and not a very thick neck) i look like a lollipop. and it's too short to do anything about it, so there's no point in trying to find someone else to fix it. it's a good thing it's winter, so i can wear a hat without feeling weird! and i've heard that hair grows 1 cm/month, so in 6 months it will probably look much better :)
