we spent most of yesterday outdoors, so today my forehead is red. it doesn't match my orange eye brows very well, but it was a nice day so i guess it was worth it.

we started with a long dog walk with lots of bathing breaks (the dog bathed, the tommy and i just watched). then the tommy and i biked to helgum and the amazingly fun swing they have in their school yard. (i got an insect in my eye on my way there, and it stayed there until this morning). we ?swung? until i was feeling sick (that must be an age thing... you're not supposed to feel sick from swinging!).

after that we went to see if the boat café in the river had opened. it hadn't. doesn't open until july. so we went to the golf course to see if they had a café where we could buy ice cream. just when we got there two of my colleagues and two other guys were starting a round/game/match/whatever you do when you're golfing, so we bought our ice creams and followed them around for a while. it was acutally quite nice. sometimes they hit a tree, and sometimes they hit the surrounding fields. no dead birds and no balls in the water though. when we'd seen them make four goals each we left them and went to the long, old, narrow, scary bridge over the river. tommy found it when he was biking on his own one day, and i had never seen it before.

when we came home i had a shower, planted some radishes and talked to the neighbour (who was in a good mood) while tommy was "cooking". then we had hot dogs and fries and coca cola in front of the tv.

in short: yesterday was good :)  ¶ 8:12 PM
