today has been a warm day. tommy had just a t-shirt on the dog walk after work.

on my way back to work after a visit to the hospital i saw two sea gulls sitting on a small ice floe in the middle of the river. they looked really proud, with heads held high and straight backs. like little captains. i envied them a bit. it must be cool riding on an ice floe in the middle of the river, looking "down" on the world on land.
