there's a storm running around here. it almost blew me into the river on my way to work today. i like the wind better when it's very very strong than when it's just blowing around weakly. the same with rain: if it must rain i prefer it to rain heavily. i don't like weak weather, i guess... i like it to be either proper sunshine or proper rain or proper wind, not something in between. weather is boring when it's lagom. so today is fun. i laughed my way to work. i suppose i would have felt differently if i was a truck driver. but i'm not, so i'm happy.

cold is an exception to this rule. i don't want proper cold. cold is better when it's lagom.
