today has been a wonderful day
it started out cold and misty, but clear and no clouds. when bob and i went for our morning walk the lake was absolutely calm and looked like a mirror. it was almost unnatural, like in a film where they have tried to make it as romantic-looking as possible.
at about 11 am i took the bike and went to the physiotherapist (the back is worse again, by the way...). the sun was shining, and even though the air was cold and "autumnish" it managed to give some warmth. the wind was strong (as it is most of the time here), and of course it was going in the opposite direction than i was. strangely enough it seemed to have changed direction on my way back home... i didn't mind it too much then though, as much of the way back from långsele is downhill. i really like the sound of the wind through yellowing wheat fields, so i took it quite slowly and enjoyed the sounds and the warmth of the sun (and of course the downhill slope:).
after the trip to långsele i went for a longer walk with bob, to visit one of his girlfriends (tina). unfortunately she wasn't at home, but he found a bone that he buried in front of her letterbox. he also tried to pee on it (the letterbox), but i managed to talk him out of it.
back home i made a cup of fake-coffee and found an almost "windless" spot on the porch, where i sat down to look through the mail. our neighbour sören came out to work on his car, but didn't get further than the porch and we talked until both our backs ached and we had to get up and move about for a while.
when tommy came home he had bought coca cola (which i love) and two coca cola glasses. we made a delicious dinner with two big fish that sören cought the other day and or own potatoes.
now tommy is in the shower and i'm on my way out for a last walk in the darkness. unfortunately it sounds like rain out there... but i guess you can't expect a day that's perfect all way through :)
