HI! i'm still alive (for those of you who haven't heard from me for a while)

lots of things have happened since i visited blogger last. or at least a few things... some of them had actually allready started to happen when i last wrote here, but it didn't feel "right" to blog it yet. but now it does, so prepare yourself for a looong entry :)

* we're back in nyland, after a visit to my parents (three weeks for me, one for tommy), and a visit to our summer place (about a week). in a few days we're going back to the summer place, to build a shit house. :)

* i visited the chiropractor three times, and the back is now a little better, but still far from ok. in two weeks i'll see a doctor in långsele, to see if there's anything to do about it... i realised about two weeks ago that i don't even really expect to get well... i can't even remember when my back didn't hurt at all... maybe last spring? anyway, i just hope i'll be able to sit for more than about ten minutes before feeling that i'll become paralysed for life.

* we had a new person in our house for a while. she came from stockholm, and had been homeless for a while. i don't know how she ended up in nyland, but somehow she did. she smoked a lot, and didn't do much else at all, except slept. apparently she arrived with all her belongings in a plastic bag, and she had no way of getting to the grocery stores in långsele, or to get anywhere else she might need to go. and she filled the house with smoke. the first week we didn't see her at all (but the others noticed she was there, as their apartments were filled with smoke). then she came out to look for more cigarettes, but as she had no phone to call for a taxi, and no watch to be able to catch the school bus, she just stood waiting on the porch for hours, until a neighbour saw here and drove her to långsele. she bought cigarettes for all of her money, and after two more weeks they were out, and she tried making new ones out of wood and paper... after three weeks our land lord came to install fire alarms in her home, and apparently she had made a total mess of the place, so the next day he came to drive her away. and we haven't seen or heard from her since then. i hope somebody helped her to find somewhere to live, because she wasn't the type who could take care of herself very well...

* my sister maja is visiting us, and she'll stay about three more weeks, and then we'll go "home" and visit furuvik (or maybe gröna lund, but it's been a tradition for years to visit furuvik)

* my other sister is in greece, and has been since a few days after she finished school. she'll come home in a few days, and we all hate her as we have no sun at all, and she has had lots. won't talk to her for ages :)

* we spent midsummer in our summer place, with a few of tommy's friends. it wasn't nice summer weather, but at least it didn't rain the entire day.

* i've bought the cutest underpants you can imagine! i'm not normally very much into underpants, but these were extraordinary. with big butterflies on the behinds. so now i'm sitting on a big green butterfly :)  ¶ 3:44 PM
