tommy and the cats are here, and it was very nice to see them again after almost 2 weeks away "on my own" (together with bob, of course). tommy hadn't noticed if our plants were alive or if anything had started to grow in the green house... but he had seen the potatoes coming up, which i guess is better than nothing :)

in a few days were going back home, to (hopefully) spend midsommarafton at our summer cottage. it'll be very nice to see what has happened in the garden and in the windows at home while i've been away. or at least i hope it'll be nice... maybe it'll be very very sad...

my mother and i went flower hunting in the beginning of this week, so i'll have a few new ones to bring home, in case some of the old ones haven't survived. along the old railway there are lots of interesting things to be found, as the people who live along it throw away the things they clear out of their gardens there. lots of weed of course, but some "real" plants as well. we made some interesting finds that we dug up, and some that my mother will go back and collect seeds from in fall.  ¶ 11:50 PM
